Toronto FC fans could be watching Man U for the prices they pay to attend games

Typical Toronto. They'll go watch anything if you charge them enough............they've been gouging people at Leaf games for 40+ years.

Old Trafford holds 75,957 spectators, BMO field holds 21,800 spectators. Trying to compare the two teams in terms of ticket prices is silly. TFC can't afford to attract high quality players (which should be any day now  ) by offering them peanuts. MLS teams do not have international appeal like many European or South American clubs do. All of their revenue has to be generated internally. Seeing how TFC has won the Nutrilite Championship the last two years maybe Montreal and Vancouver can take a page from TFC's book. ONE FOR ALL!

The TV rights for premier league games must be pretty pricey, based on what Setanta subscritpions cost! I doubt that Toronto FC macthes on the tube get as much action. Or merchandise sales.

I get Whitecaps out here, who will soon be MLS. Ticket prices will go up then, I'm sure. I'll still go though. Love a good footy match.

We'll see. Season tickets for the Whitecaps will start at $320 which means you can find me at Empire Field when they join the MLS in March.
