Mr. Lo Key in the comments section under the story is a moron. I cannot believe how many people just automatically assume that because some asshole who has an alternative agenda says that pesticides are safe to humans just assumes it to be true. There are a lot of people out there who say things out of there ass, remember when tobacco companies claimed cigarettes weren't addictive and were harmless?

We've got Nile Virus in the Sacramento river delta and we lose 5-10 people a year to it. It doesn't even make the news anymore.

Libya, which used to have a lot of problems with it now loses no one to the disease since they started buying and using Chinese made DDT to eradicate mosquitoes. And no one is whining about birds with thin shells.
