Arctic Ocean sea ice has experienced another severe meltdown this year, with the approaching end-of-summer minimum representing the third-biggest thaw since satellite monitoring began about 30 years ago.

This is very worrying, living on the coast of an island; I can only wait and see much more global warming will continue to effect nature.

What is it you're worried about?

I'm pretty close to the Arctic and in my mind, I keep thinking that I'm going to be flooded. Its a long shot, but I'm still worried.

Think you can handle a rise of 20 inches - that's what any reasonable estimate is talking aoubt - and that's off quite a bit in the future. Way too much scary hype about global warming. It's real, but the effects aren't as dramatic as some people want you to believe. And the arctic will actually benefit - you'll be able to grow coconuts in your backyard.

Ugh, it wasn't the science that killed that movie, it was the ending. The fact that all of Western civilization had to move to the 3rd world was enough motivation for me to stop idling my car.

They'll have my balls on a platter for our ancestor's sins. They'll make us wait extra long in line.

Edit: Scratch that, I'm going to Brazil. Hmmmmm.......
