Well like the recession/depression harper says we didn't have, I suppose mr " I make the rules" says there is no unemployment.. like there is no more need for veterans affairs because the men and women fighting now won't be veterans....

Harper never said we didnt have a recession. Plus we came nowhere close to a depression. Whatever helps you spew your hatred for the man.

I don't know how you can read,
"...said the jobs were just temporary to begin with."
say that this is because of a recession/depression and then blame it on Harper.
Besides, wouldn't less people working at EI be a good thing? :?

You don't hate Harper, Ken, you hate the party he "works" for.
I'm sure that if he ever switched sides, you'd love him.
Just like a hockey player that's hated... as soon as he's traded to your team, the hate is forgotten.

Sure a lot being read into some temp jobs being cut. The story is about EI temporary positions no longer being necessary and it somehow gets to veteran affairs? Some just can't seem to stay on topic I guess.

All indications are that they'll have to hire those folks back soon enough. Unless Harper does his "If we were going to have a (double dip) recession we would have had it by now" schtick again.

Feel free to read the business section of any newspaper. I prefer the Globe and Mail.
