A YOUNG man was held captive for six months, forced to work as a slave and repeatedly bashed at the hands of the couple he lodged with, a court heard yesterday.

come on, be fair. These weren't employers. They were't paying him. I guess that makes them worse than the Muslims.

SO #1 how did he get away
#2 this must have been planned because there are very few houses anywhere with interior doors that cannot be kicked in, leading me to assume they had a room or ara secure enough to hold a full grown man
#3 how does a healthy 26 year old man not defend himself or raise enough of a ruckus to alert neighbors

Did you actually read the story??

The 26-year-old, who was in a serious condition in Sydney's Westmead Hospital last night, is dehydrated and emaciated, suffering spinal fractures, a punctured lung, several broken ribs and a fractured jaw.
His weight was just 40kg, according to police.

This sounds an awful lot like that LaFortune-story, that man from Calgary...
