Fail, pure fail. How do you turn the perfect setup "His father, described by friends as a "perfect gentleman" who was cautious with his money, left his son a furnished bungalow in Bells Corners, stocks, cash and a stamp collection worth $25,000."

Into $180, 000 debt? His father gave him everything for a good start. A furnished bungalow, stock, cash and stamps worth $25, 000. I bet his father is rolling in his grave.
