KANDAHAR, Afghanistan — The Canadian Forces has confirmed that a Chinook helicopter that was forced to make an emergency landing Thursday was brought down by small arms fire.
It takes time to get all the reports from the pilots and people in the helicopter. All they knew for sure before was it was a hard landing. Now they know that it was shot down. No conspiracy here.

Really?
Mmmm. I think once an aircraft has landed, hard or not, it's pretty easy to see 7.62 holes in it. It doesn't take three days to link a fire to holes put in it by bad guys on the ground.
It takes three days for some bosses to cough to it though.
Is somebody in the CF too scared to tell the truth?
