A bit over the top. I can't recall Greenpeace advocating violence.
Perhaps instead of carrying out elaborate stunts if they helped solve some energy issues, I'm sure some of them must be smart ...... Solutions people stop simply pointing out problems. And stop your jackassery
Greenpeace doesn't solve anything. They are like the marketing part of an organization--filled with people with great ideas to get people's attention, but don't really understand the product they're tasked with selling.

Suzuki's an eco-fascist, advocating the jailing of deniers.

Still, they serve a purpose.
The only purpose they're serving right now is exacerbating the divisions in the "debate." This is the third time they've engaged in highly risky acrobatic protests. Remember a thread a week or two ago about that jackass construction worker tossing a wrench on a Calgary construction site? What if these guys didn't get their rigging right? What if their equipment / selves fell onto the public below?
This isn't protest. This is sheer, unmitigated recklessness.

I thought Greenpeace was far left-wing, not libertarian.

Agreed 100%.
Again, I have to agree. Greenpeace, in the last 20 years or so, has done more to alienate the average person than convince them of their cause.
