MERCY BAY, N.W.T. • The ship whose crew discovered Canada’s Northwest Passage has been found 155 years after it was abandoned and disappeared in this isolated Arctic bay, a historic find and one that may help bolster Canadian claims to Arctic sovereignty.

It nice to find a ship like that so intact, I wonder what they will find on board as well.

From the log of the captain at the time, they removed everything from the ship and buried it nearby when they abandonned the ship. Since it's was an expedition ship and that the crew passed 3 winters in the Great North stuck in the ice... I don't think there will be much left.
