A woman charged with manslaughter in the death of a toddler at a licensed day home in Medicine Hat, Alta., was granted bail Tuesday.

    Why? She's innocent, no? Do you think she's a flight risk? Or are you one of those lawnorder types who wants to jail people just on the say so of the police, dispense with trials altogether?

    Doubt shes going anywhere, plus already out of a job by nature of the ruling. IF she is found innocent that's a job she will have a tough time starting again after all this press.

    Yep, it doesn't look good for her. Blunt force trauma, hard to explain that one away. Presumably that would be different than if she dropped the toddler on the corner of a table or some other accident.
