Industry Minister Tony Clement is urging summer swimmers to be careful after he dove into a churning river to help rescue a drowning woman.

    "I could see the woman, Jennifer, in the water and she was quite a far ways down, so I jumped in right away with my clothes on -- just dove into the water and started swimming," he said.

    A number of other people jumped in after Clement to help. At that point the Toronto woman realized that if she stayed on her back, she could float down the river and remain buoyant, then people could catch up to her.
