Vancouver Canucks defenceman Sami Salo has suffered an Achilles tendon tear, adding another injury to the already staggering list accumulated by the hard-luck NHL veteran.

Probably doing some stupid stunt with the Stanley Cup………..Oh sorry, once the Oilers were eliminated by New Years, I kind of loss track and just realized that dream season didn’t happen.

But seriously I hope he can come back as good as new, or rebuilt as good as new. You hate to see a career end on something like that.

Not surprised. Still though, Dude is great when he's healthy and the Canucks don't need another star defenceman out indefinitely.
