KANDAHAR, Afghanistan — Six aging Canadian Chinook helicopters that have become the pride of the air force in Afghanistan may not be headed to the scrap heap when the mission is over but they are not coming home either.
I say just give them to the Afghan Military. Unless they can't afford the upkeep, however with all that new finds they got. I'm sure they could pay for the 6 chinooks upkeep and would be of better use to them.

Screw that, we're already giving them Leo C1 tanks. Return them to Boeing and sell them to someone else to recoup some of the $292 million we spent for them in the first place.
