Syria bans face veils at universities

Female students wearing a full face veil will be barred from Syrian university campuses, the country's minister of higher education has said.

Seems that even in islamic countries there is support for not wearing face veils.
I can understand if they want to keep their heads/hair covered but faces should be seen.
