Darn. For all his personal flaws when he was younger, he was still one of my favourite all-time brawlers. And he should have been given the Order Of Canada just for the number of times he beat the crap out of little idiots like Tie Domi:

    RIP, Bob.... :(

Of all the celebrity deaths over the last while this one bothers me the most. I was and still am a huge Bobby P fan. Sure, he was flawed but who isn't? We'll miss you big guy.

Holy crap. 45.... way to freaking young to go like that. What a shame for his family...

RIP Bob. You'll always be remembered as one of the tougest guys to ever play the game.

Bobby was a heck of a guy. I had the pleasure of metting him a few times at the ol' Don Cherry's Grapevine in Windsor. He was one of my 3 favourite Red Wings right along with Stevie Y and Nick Lidstrom.
He always had time for his fans and yet seemed almost embarrassed by the attention.
RIP Bobby, you will be sorely missed

He made at least two trips to Kandahar to visit the troops in the past few years, a great guy who is probably tossing them with John Kordic as I type this. A real shock.
