Wachovia admitted it didnt do enough to spot illicit funds in handling $378.4 billion for Mexican-currency-exchange houses from 2004 to 2007. Thats the largest violation of the Bank Secrecy Act, an anti-money-laundering law, in U.S. history -- a sum

    This says it all:

"Wachovia’s new owner paid $160 million in fines and penalties, less than 2 percent of its $12.3 billion profit in 2009."

Maybe I should start trafficking in child slaves - and for every 100 I enslave I will just pay a fine of 2 children to the government. That'll teach me.

No, don't go into human trafficking. Keep it money laundering which is nice and clean with no human faces and you may have stumbled on the best money making idea that has come along in years.

Spelling mistake, forgivable. Making a spelling mistake, while correcting a spelling mistake - priceless. ;)

    4. Skitt’s Law

It is an online version of the proofreading truism Murphy’s Law, also known as Hartman’s Law of Prescriptivist Retaliation: “any article or statement about correct grammar, punctuation, or spelling is bound to contain at least one error”.

I wasn't correcting the spelling so much as enjoying an incidentally accurate statement.
