A group of Quebec protesters say people from their province were targeted at last weekend's G20 summit and arrested simply for speaking French or having fleur-de-lys license plates.

Cry me a river you stupid f??kin french f??ks. You attend the G20 summit to do what (talk to the police)? And once your rights are violated(you call harrassment). Go back to your own country! Note: I have nothing against the french (I live in Quebec)it's just makes me mad when people complain about things that they get themselves into, and turn around and try to blame others.

Weren't a fair chunk of the violent 'protestors' arrested from Quebec??

The anti-capitalist, anti-state, anti-authority group describes the controversial Black Bloc tactics, blamed for many of the incidents in Toronto, as a legitimate form of protest.

It has no problem with the so-called Black Bloc protest tactics, calling it a legitimate form of protest, which it says mainly targets "multi-national" companies and "symbols of capitalism."

These dumb fucks have no idea how a franchising system works. They don't realize that these stores are owned by private individuals and groups, employing millions of hard working Canadians trying to pay their bills, pay for school or support their families.......something these societal parasites don't understand.

Would have been nice if the police used something heavy handed to subdue the black bloc, if they saw someone tossing bricks or fire bombs they should have been authorized deadly forces. "Heave handed Rules of Engagement." A little better work at the boarders, ask why they are coming to Canada, where they are staying. If they did not have a good reason, send them away.

God if the police don't kick the shit out of them, I will. Watch the media take his word for it and bias the story to make Toronto look like a police state and cops abusive. Like they already have been doing.

They had no problem using tear gas on everyone else.

Yeah that's it, one of the police forces mandates was to specifically arrest Qubecers just because they're Quebecers, some of them really think they're that special. Give me a break.

    Maybe this was the problem....

Québec profiling right Bodah! From what I have read they were targeted and when the cops heard accents ( no matter where from ) they were brutal. A female reporter was arrested because she was taping and she says they told her she would be taught a lesson and wouldn't want to cover a demonstration again or be a reporter once she was raped and gang raped! What kind of shit it that? The cops went to far and it will be proven. They abused the power and thats a fact jack! The chief of police is a bully and you can pick that out pretty easy. He should have twin photos done with John Baird... and title it a couple of bull dogs! So lets have some more Québec bashing by the resident Québec haters.. and Bodah if you are so anti Québecois, what are you doing living in Gatineau? move across the river!

Racist english pig! How far did you go is school? grade 2... if you got a little farther in geography you would know that Québec is in Canada... and the french actually founded the place. But hey there are adult education classes that you can take to brush up on things!

Lets not generalize... there is a difference between demonstrators and vandals. I would put money on most of those doing the vandalizations were from Toronto itself.

I apologise for not realizing quebec is in Canada (living here in quebec)I barely see any Canadian flags, let alone any on "Canada Day" Darn those "aboriginals!" what are they doing in quebec? Did you forget about them while quebec was founding "Canada?" I won't put the french down except those that want to seperate from Canada. Yeah, it seems your pretty upset when talking about the french...did you vote YES/NO for quebec to seperate (bet you voted YES)!
