Ontario and Quebec say the dream of a high-speed train link between Windsor and Quebec City may finally be picking up steam — if only Ottawa would get aboard.

There's been a lot of calls for this between Edmonton and Calgary as well, including all the other cities in the region, but that's been stonewalled since I first heard about the project possibly coming into fruition way back in '02.

Both Japan and Taiwan have high speed rail(300 kph) and the ground in both countries heaves alot due to seismic activity(it's been mentioned in the past that the cold and frost heaves may be problematic in certain areas). I've used both, and it wouls make quite a bit of sense to have it running between Toronto and Montreal.

It should be an initial triangle between Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto. It should then expand outward from there.

Toronto to Ottawa to Montreal. Tow lines running in opposite directions. This would be an express route, and a few smaller centers could be added for regular runs.

I'd personally like to see bullet trains linking all the major cities in Canada together.

They are calling him the Green Tiger. That's Dalton. He's has more hot projects on the go than Tiger Woods.
