Apple selling unlocked iPhones in Canada

Apple is trying to go where Google failed by selling unlocked phones directly to customers in Canada through its website.

I would but my favorite website requires an adobe flash enabled browser. So I might as well go to the competition or stay with my current cellphone.

I have an iphone; 3g still doesn't work right; flash doesn't work and it is to exclusive anyway (both the iphone OS and flash). When I get back from Korea I'm ditching the iphone and going elsewhere. Unlocked or not the phone is not worth the money.

I think it's ridiculous that when I don't like my provider, I have to buy a new phone from a new provider, instead of a sim. It's about time that changed.

i dont see a clear advantage because many of us have gotten addicted to the reduced purchase price that comes with a contract
