A former convenience store owner in Toronto who stole a winning lottery ticket worth $5.7 million has been sentenced to one year in jail.

During sentencing, Malik apologized to the court and expressed his regret at what he did.

The old fart ----.... got a year big deal... should have got a lot more.. there are so many of these people who have cheate and stolen from people.. should have given him 5 yrs with out parole
