I personally would think motion sensing guns would be a better idea

What a dumb idea. How would the Goverment explain all the drunk, dead, tourists that got blown up at the border, trying to sneak across into Tiajuana at 3 am to buy hookers and weed? 8O

Sometimes reading the actual article is a good idea. He suggested no such thing.

Asked Monday to clarify, Tom Mullins emphasized he does not advocate doing so.

He explained Monday it was a suggestion he'd heard while campaigning.

Build a moat. If they mine the border, they should do it as an open-pit mine. When they're done mining, they could fill the hole with water and crocodiles.

I say they should take a hint from monty python. Build a bunch of caves around the US-Mexican border. Create altered bunnies into killer bunnies like in the Monty Python and the holy grail and the problem will solve itself. If it can keep fictional knights with imaginary horses at bay. I'm sure it could do the same for Mexican illegals.

Am I the only one thinking that if you make crossing via the surface impossible, the Mexicans will pull a Gaza and dig tunnels to reach the US?

That's a bit of a cop out. If he ain't advocating it, why even bring it up? It's not like the media will ignore that kind of inflammatory nonsense.

Bit of a drama queen, really. Riding the coat tails of someone elses crap and can't even man up to take some credit?

    Empty mouthpiece.

Fox News likes doing that. Their crazy commentators say something crazy, News reports, "People are beginning to say [something crazy]..."

I believe this has been the nature of the news media for a long time

Realize this was not advocated just discuss.
    There are many problems here,
    Might be an idea?
Might be dangerous for the cattle and horses?
    They don't read warning signs.
    Just a thought.

We did. It's called the All American Canal and illegal aliens frequently drown in it whist trying to illegally enter the USA. IMHO this serves as a very effective barrier to criminals entering the USA.
