Mr. Black was playing third base in a mens slo-pitch recreational game in Hamilton on May 19, 2004, when the batter hit a line drive right at him during the eighth inning. Mr. Black, a long-time player, lost sight of the ball in the setting sun.

He also alleged the company failed to inspect the diamond or “warn [Mr. Black] of the dangers of the sun at the particular time of day.”

Stop the world I wanna get of. Tell me the media is just running more of these stories and the populace is not actually getting dumber?

He needed the company to tell him the sun was shining in his eyes and that impeads vision?

“There have been no instructions in avoiding the sun. There were no instructions that the players are to cease playing when the sun is at a level that will interfere with their eyes.”

Seems the knock in the head was not enough to knock some sense into him.

What a fucking whiney pussy. How many years did he play the game? How many times has any of us that played lost a fly ball in the sun?
And the judge is actually entertaining this nonsense. un-befucking-lievable

Whenever I lose the ball in the sun during a pop fly I get the hell out of the way lol. Let him get the base hit, I want to drink the beer I have chilling on the bench 9or out in teh field with me at times) at the end of the inning not have to use it to ice my face on the way to the ER.

The line between this and someone who looks for a spill in the grocery store to "accidentally" slip in so they can sue is really thin.
Only problem is unless you can read his mind, you can't see if he really is that stupid or is just pretending.
Maybe if the company does a background check on his life they can find out he played little league baseball and counter sue.

Either that, or find out how much beer he drank at the game that day.

I'm surprised he isn't suing the sun. What a nimrod.

If this moron wins this case, I'm gonna sue the city for building the sidewalks too close to my ass.

Maybe he should sue God for making the sun too bright.

“Players are not trained nor experts in knowing the safety precautions,” Mr. Black alleged in his suit. “There have been no instructions in avoiding the sun. There were no instructions that the players are to cease playing when the sun is at a level that will interfere with their eyes.”

    WTF???

While you're at it, you freaking idiot, don't forget to sue them for the grass stains on your shoes.
