OK besides the obvious fact the woman it a fruit loop I like how the police charged her with "aggravated assault with a deadly weapon" yet most police forces will still call the Taser a "non lethal" weapon. SO when they use it its non lethal but when a fruit loop uses it its lethal? Hmmmm....

I realize many police services not refer to it as "less lethal weapon" now but many still consider it non-lethal. IF her lawyer does not pick up on that one she's getting ripped off.

No kidding. With the spate of drive through violence in the news in the last few months they will have to start paying staff danger pay and issuing protective vests.

perhaps it is because the police are trained to use the weapon and a civilian can misuse/overuse it and intentionally cause death, maybe....just throwing it out there.

on a lighter note with a name like Katrina Mari- Alyce Bryant can't you just picture some loud mouth c*nt snaping her fingers and waving her head back and forth when you offer even the least amount of resistance to her...

Well that's likely the key. They are not meant to have the charge applied for more than a few moments yet it can be held on for longer. I was just wanting to see if I could stir the debate pot. Party Pooper!

Well, that's a reasonable reaction. Hope she enjoys prison.

Me too. But I'm old enough and patient enough to stand there at the counter and watch like a hawk or they WILL fuck up your order beyond all recognition.

Getting sick of 2 subs and 2 pops at Subway = $27 after being bombarded by all those ads telling you they're $5.99
Of KFC 'solly no bleasts' $24.99 family special (if your family =TWO) that leaks thru the containers and ruins your carseats bringing it home.
Of FIVE BUCKS FIVE BUCKS pizzas that cost $28.00 except on tv and the dog won't even eat it, your Calabrian ancestors would've pinned the cook down and shoved angry wasps up his nostrils for calling it pizza....

Oh it takes patience these days...

Well Heavy_Metal, would you be fine if everyday people got 'trained'
    to use a taser 'properly'?

And after such non-police non-military training, would you be fine
with these people walking down the street with these concealed tasers,
    being hardcore vigilante wannabe's?

    Just a hypothetical, I mean.

don't know where your hypothetical is heading but no, I don't believe the public should have access to tazers unless they have proven to have a valid reason to carry one for their protection, then before it is issued, they must go through training from their local police service which includes getting hit by the current themselves. even with all this, they are still liable for misuse of the weapon.
