I think there were victims who never did press charges. One could hope this publicity would lead to new charges and he could end up back in the slammer, I guess.

You can get a pardon for any crime in Canada, plus if he does get in trouble its going to be Canada's taxpayers that get him out of trouble and bring him back here.
