Ontario’s high-profile electronic waste disposal program is failing to recycle millions of computers and televisions it promised to keep out of landfill.

    I've packed a couple tons of computers for recycling in the past.

    1/3 isn't a bad start.

    I imagine that it's the same out here on the coast. We pay a crapload more at time of purchase for the disposal of electronics and alot of it likely still ends up in the dump while the Provincial Gov't rakes in the money.

    Which pisses me off to no end because I throw nothing out. It's all in my closet.

    I think the oldest piece of gear is a TNT2.

    The old lady would love for me to recycle the old Vic20, the Amiga 500, the Amiga 4000... but then she'd spend a fortune filling the closet with clothes she'll never wear.....
