Electricity consumers in Alberta may have to help cover a $35 million bill for fees incurred by Altalink to map out transmission lines between Edmonton and Calgary, even though the controversial power lines were never built.

    B.S.; seems like someone higher knew about this, and had to have been paid. What a high price, did everyone involved get paid a million dollars!

    No, but the Alberta government has historically sided with corporations over the little folk for generations. It's the reason for our 'Alberta Advantage".

    Without this bias, industries might have to clean up after themselves, pay people a living wage and not use every drop of water they get their hands on (for next to nothing I might add).

    Note, I'm not saying we need to go the NDP route, but a little balance might be nice.
