The 20-year-old Chipman, N.B., woman involved in the hit and run that killed a Toronto woman in a wheelchair last summer was sentenced to two years plus one day in prison on Thursday.
Did you see the similar case with street racing in NFLD where a young man killed an elderly lady? HE got 5 years for it. And HE didn't destroy evidence in the process.

But SHE wasnt streetracing or ran a red light. She only fled the scene of an accident and covered it up. Not the same at all.
Yep. I like to get on the men are treated differently than women bandwagon, but in this case I don't see it. In Vancouver, a bus driver who killed a woman in a cross walk got driving without due care and attention - I believe that's 6 points and a fine. He didn't run, of course.
He's a real piece of shit.
