A man and two grade school sisters died in a crash between a Via Rail passenger train and a truck at a level crossing in Edmonton Tuesday morning.

This is terrible! I know that particular crossing very well as we lived at Winterburn Rd for 4 years. My kids also attended the Winterburn school. Rural and highway. It always worried me.

No one on the train was hurt, though Kaloutsky said the two engineers requested replacements.

No kidding...

That is awful...
