Thief forces boy, 12, into being getaway driver

A "brave" 12-year-old boy was forced at knifepoint into being the getaway driver for a man who had just committed robbery.

This story is unbievable. The story I read said that the thief made the kid drive to the store, and then the kid waited in the truck while the theif robbed the store and came back. If that's true, the kid isn't brave but kinda dumb.

The victim was sitting in his father�s van when the 23-year-old suspect opened the door, told the boy to move to the driver�s seat and head to a nearby grocery store, RCMP said.

Police said the terrified boy stayed in the van while the suspect held up the shop, returned to the vehicle and instructed the child to drive away.
