A grey whale spotted feeding in Howe Sound north of Vancouver in recent days is a sign that efforts to restore the area's natural ecosystem are working, according to the chief of the Squamish First Nation.
Haven't ever seen a Grey whale, but a few years ago off Botany Bay, outside of Port Renfrew, I did see a couple of Blue whales feeding in the mouth of Port San Juan. Just might have to do a road trip up to Squamish this week.
