The scenario I see bandied about is that Labor gets the least popular vote, but because the Liberals steal so many votes from the Conservatives, Labor winds up with the most seats. However Clegg has said he would not form support Labor in that case, so either he forms a coalition with the Cons, or they have to do another election very soon.

Somebody should write a book on the stupidest political moves and campaigns of the 21st century. The lady who ran against Scott Brown should be one example, along with this retarded move.

Were I Brown I'd have responded, "After exhaustive research the Foreign Office has reason to suspect that all of those Eastern Europeans are coming from Eastern Europe."

She's not too sharp, that one. She may not be a bigot, but she's also not one of the UK's brain trust.

I reckon that Clegg bloke from the Lib-Dems may just do it! Good for him, a bland and too posh young Tory vs a Jock wanker. At the very least these guys will be the power brokers on any (and likely) minority government.

This really goes to show that politicians literally act in front of those cameras. Different situation when they assume no one is listening to them.

People like their Prime Minister or President to be exceptional; educated, moral and dynamic. In fact they are typically white, middle aged men running under a flag of convenience. Prime Minister Brown's regard of the working class is limited.
