Veronica is finally about to meet the one hunky guy she can’t get in the pages of Archie — the comic series’ first gay character.

Well now, probable romance for this new character....could it be? Betty is really about to loose Archie...or is it an even greater plot twist? Jughead gives head?....Stay tuned!!!

I'm not sure how I feel about this, seems they are trying to target an audience that typically doesn't read Archie, Just a sign of the times I guess

I think this is more about the writer Goldwater coming out of the closet.

You're shitting me. I thought the Archie Comics went out of circulation when that freakin bubblegum group that was named after him was found out to be the monkees in drag or something like that.

So really, do kids still read these comics? 8O

BTW.................. I'll put money on Moose

So it's okay to make gay wise-cracks on some threads but not others. I see, I see.

The last time I checked Archie, Jughead and the rest of the characters weren't real people, so, I don't think their feelings are gonna be hurt by our speculation about their sexuality.

But, just to be on the safe side, maybe someone should call in the Canadian HRC and have them make a ruling about this double standard.

So that's the line, is it? We can speculate about the sexuality of cartoon characters, but not of mostly-naked queer bait dudes with Superman tattoos on their upper arms? Okay, I think I can follow that rule.

Superman tattoos make someone gay? Does the new Archie Character have a Superman tat? Does Ricky Martin have a Superman tat? Does Svend Robinson have a Superman tat? (Is it a prison Superman tat from when he stole that ring?) Does Archie have a secret Superman tat that only Betty knows about? What is this obsession with gays having Superman tats?

No obsession. Just wondering where the line is. And SURELY Svend Robinson has a Superman tat.

The line? Where the line is between gay and straight people with Superman tats? (I wonder if where the tat is makes the person clearly gay cause they have a Superman tat.... :? )....(If a woman has a Superman tat, is she gay too?....)

This is all very confusing about the correlation between Superman tats and peoples sexuality.....I bet Veronica has a Superman tat.......

For the record, the /real/ Lemmy would be a lot more chill and less "where's the line? whine, whine, whine".
