Great new law, have to say this should catch illegals living in the United States.

However, it just opened up a whole new industry to.

You see just like the terrorists of 9.11 used student Visa's to enter the United States legally to kill thousands of U.S. Citizens... there are many laws in place in the United States that will provide easy access to U.S. Citizenship ID.

Illegal Mexicans pay thousands to enter the country, now they will pay for ID that will allow them to vote, get medical care, basiclly have all the rights as a U.S. Citizen.

I know several ways personally, I will share one with you all.

Death certificates (as in Drivers Licenses) are not cross-referenced between states.

Therefore, if you know how. Find a person born in lets say, Wisconsin, then died or killed in a traffic accident in Washington State.

You can apply for that persons birth certificate and social security card and assume his identity. He/she is dead so you won't have much of a fear of someone suddenly cliaming you stole his identity.

Now you have bona fide U.S. ID that if stopped in Arizona, you can say; "oh yeah, I'm a citizen"

Maybe just to piss off this Rebublican dick head senator, I will create a web site with 100's of ways to circumvent U.S. immigration laws... sorta as a rebuttal of this new Arizona law.

Can't stand that these white trash, racist pricks pick on the weakest in society, that do the shitties jobs and are already abused by most employers.

Well like they said the Federal government in the states has failed them. Its at lest a something, but there is always a way around anything as you pointed out.

No this is not a good law.

In the course of a traffic stop, they can ask you to prove that you are a citizen and or allowed to be in the country.

They claim it has nothing to do with race.

Well, in the course of that "traffic stop" do you think if you're a white man they will ask you for your ID or proof of citizenship?

No they will profile and if you look Mexican or "illegal" they will ask you. Doesn't matter that you could be 3rd generation U.S. Citizen, you skin color says it all.

Clearly, the illegal immigrants from Mexico should show their disdain for this horrible, racist law by boycotting Arizona. Any illegal immigrants currently living in Arizona should pack their bags and move right back to Mexico!

Yeah, that'll show all those bigots who think that people who immigrate into the USA should respect our laws.

I don't think this law will work. There is no requirement for a citizen to carry id proving their citizenship. So let the cops ask, the illegals will just claim to be citizens. The only way to make this work is to issue a national id card that must be carried by all citzens.

Personally, I would just rather see another meteor, just a little bigger than the meteor crater in New Mexico and one state over to the west.

The reasom why the United States has so many illegal immigrants is because of the economy in Mexico.

Well, why does Mexico has such a shitty economy?

Maybe because the United States always concerned about Mexico becoming a communist nations on it's southern border, was very involved with Mexican politics.

It supported and gave finacial aid to this currupt government the PRI, which held power in Mexico since 1929.. thanks to the United States.

Just like Haiti, the United States screwed up that country too with fincial support to a currupt government.

The USA is responsible for it's past aggressions and should pay the price.

GOD!! I hope Iran get a Nuke and a ballistic missile that can reach the USA. Tired of the United States thinking they are the worlds police and can tell other nations what they can or can't have.

With China and now Iran gaining position in the world economy, the USA is slowly beginning to realize they are becoming more insignificant, with most of their debt owing to the China and Oil coming from the Middle East.

I think that a national ID in some form or another is an eventuality.

The question of carrying ID is problematic and the courts have not done too much to define what can and cannot be done.

In The Walker vs City and County of San Diego the US Supreme Court ruled that, absent probable cause, police do not have the right to ask a citizen for ID. In this case the man in question 'The Walker' liked to walk at all hours of the night (due to a skin condition he could not go out in the day time) and he was repeatedly harassed by the police and when he refused to show his ID just because an officer asked for it, he was arrested and the case went to the highest court possible.

So you have a right to be left alone and you don't have to show ID just because a cop asks you for it.

But if a cop says, "I saw you jaywalk back there, can I see your ID?" , now you have to show your ID.

What happens now is that if someone is suspected of being an illegal in Arizona that is now probable cause for a cop to ask for ID. I know you all are not so familiar with this kind of thing, but I am. We have illegals working as day laborers in Sacramento - with the blessing of the city - so we see them all the time and they do stand out. Sad to say, but they are easily profiled by their activities and behavior. Illegals in Arizona also constitue the majority of a hyper-violent gang called so there's more behind this law than just bothering poor illegal immigrants, it's another tool to stop gang violence.

Because the country is run by a corrupt oligarchy that has no tolerance for dissent. Newspaper reporters who stand up to the endemic corruption of the country end up dead both at the hands of criminals and at the hands of the police.

The country is swimming in oil wealth and is home to the richest man in the world, yet most of the people are poor because none of the oil wealth makes its way to the common person.

It is also not unusual for someone to open a business, like a hotel or restaurant and when it succeeds the business is seized by local politicos. Thus, enterprise is not something most Mexicans bother with.

I've worked in Denver and Phoenix, I know about the illegals. But even if the cop asks for ID, it's not citizenship ID, just Driver's licence. Most illegals are going to get driver's licences and social security cards as soon as they can. Unless the cops are going to haul everybody off to jail to check them out,and then it will become a profiling case as they catch many legal Hispanics in their net, this law won't accomplish much.

But the US isn't serious about stopping illegals - too much money to be made by the rich on cheap labor. Otherwise they would be going after the companies that hire the illegals, put a stop to it once and for all.

14 years living in Texas and 2 years in California. I have had my fill of "America" for a lifetime.

Plenty of other countries with "real culture" such as Greece, England, Australia, Asian countries..

What culture does the United States have? Home of the Big Mac.

Florida is all Cuban, New York is Puerto Rican and all the Southern Stats are all TexMex. (Mexican)

The United States keeps borrowing at the rate it's going, I won't have far to visit China in 10 years... just across the border.
