What are these guys drinking or smoking. It must be some strong stuff. I'm embarrassed that the supreme court in my country that would permit depictions of animal fighting as free speech.

Writing for the court majority, Chief Justice John Roberts agreed that the law was substantially too broad and therefore invalid under the First Amendment.

What the fear was, was that the law would ban depictions, documentaries, and etc. of (in particular) bullfighting. While I am not a supporter of such a thing, it is legal in Mexico and other Latin countries and it is an entrenched part of their culture. With some 45 million Hispanics in the USA this law is saying that they can't buy videos of something that is perfectly legal in their home country.

The law, as written, needed to be struck down.

    Now Congress can try again.

Crush video eh? That's a new one for me...

Some men need some killer weed
    Some men need cocaine
Some men need some cactus juice, to purify the brain
Some men need two women, some need alcohol
Everybody needs a little something, but Lord I need it all
To get my rocks off, get my rocks off
Get my rocks off the mountain, and roll 'em on down the hill

I may do you one time, and I may do you more
I may turn you into something, that you ain't ready for
I might want your body, and I might want your bread
I might want your momma to come visit me instead
And get my rocks off, get my rocks off
Get my rocks off the mountain, and roll 'em on down the hill

Sometimes I dream of chicks, to bring me ever lasting joys
Sometimes I dream of animals, sometimes I dream of boys
Sometimes I kill the living, sometimes I raise the dead
Sometimes I say just screw it all, and crawl back into bed
And get my rocks off, get my rocks off
Get my rocks off the mountain, and roll 'em on down the hill

Does that mean that Michael Vick can get his conviction overturned?

Nope. And, for the record, bull fighting is illegal in the USA. But why should a video of bull fighting in Mexico be illegal? Dog fighting and cock fighting are legal in many countries around the world and videos of those events - or news reports of those events - should not be banned either.
