Actually no Americans as a whole know that Canadians actally have a brain and are well advised and have a system in place that if she ever, God forbid, were ever to find herself PM could be removed by a no confidence motion.

I'm rather perplexed as to why she keeps coming here. She's less popular here than she is in the US.

Because she knows Canadians aren't impressed with her and she's trying to get Canada to approve of her, to think of her as being like us. She's fully aware of the dumbing down of America and even recognizes it in herself now. If she ends up running for the US presidency and is successful she will NEED Canada to like her, she'll need Canada to be cooperative and supportive.

Do you not think American government needs Canada to be friendly and cooperative with it? If not, why not?

They don't NEED us to like them. Many Liberals have built a career on hating Yanks.

We sell most of our shit to them and they have a very large military that ensures we don't have to spend more than 1.14% of our GDP on defence.

I'd say we NEED them more than they need us. And really, they don't give a toss if we like/hate Sarah Palin.
