Some of us in Ontario will be hit with a triple whammy this year.

HST will increase the tax on your bill from %5 to 13%. $

Hydro One(whose grid covers three quarters of Ontario) is increasing is delivery rate charges by 8% this summer and more by the new year. $$$

We are going over to time of use billing. Large rate increases are being snuck in that way. $$$$$

Count yourself lucky you don't have to put up with the crooks over here.

They are a whole other breed.

!@#% McGuinty. Him and the Fiberals are really sticking it to us now. To all Ontarians here, I say this: In the next election, vote Conservative for the good of the province. The Fiberals have made enough of a mess, and need to go.

HST sucks big time! I work in an industry that will be forced to charge customers 7% MORE than before and business will suffer to an extent. However, there is still hope that we can fight it though Brenda. If of voters in EACH riding in BC (there are 85 electoral districts) sign a petition against it then Elections BC can serve the province with a pre-written bill to end HST.

Here is a link to what my local newspaper published on it in the April 3rd issue.

The article provides this website for more info:

Check out what your local newspaper has to say about it and seek out someone in your area that is involved with collecting signatures. I know I will be looking for one myself and will definitely sign up!
