Ummm doing the right thing? He wouldn't have HAD to do the right thing if he'd just done the right thing in the first damn place, stayed out of the mob. I'm not feelin' really sorry for him. The only reason I'm pissed is this leaves VERY little incentive for others to act as informers.

Yeah, but it sells newspapers, and after all, isn't that the most important thing? I lump yellow journalists in with lawyers, they belong on the same bus, at the bottom of the ocean. (Notice absense of smiley face.)
I grew up in a Italian American nieghborhood in NYC. "The Mob" as the media likes to call it was everywhere they controlled everything. A couple of old timers ran the show. There was never any problems. For the most part the old timers got locked up in the 90's and what took over were animals. Much like what you see happened here people with no boundries. These are not Mobsters they are punks looking to make a buck. Lock them all up!!!!
What I don't understand is, is this fellow trying to position himself for a lawsuit? If he's not, why is he advertising his plight? I'm not assuming the Sicilian mafia has forgotten, but still, why remind everybody you're still around and not dead?

He's angling to get his own reality show or perhaps be cast in "The Sopranos - a musical"

On the Lamb with Delle Donne. He could have fans write in with the wacky disguise he has to wear to get a job at an A&W drive-thru or Sleep Country floor rep.
Ratings week could involve 5 random calls to Italians in the phonebook.
The police should offer protection.
