NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. - A Niagara Falls couple’s winter vacation in Mexico has turned into a horrific nightmare.

    As said above. First this should not be suprising.
    And, second Bribery will cure the problem.
    Highway robbery by both thieves and the Police.
    What else is to be expected?

    I wouldnt exactly call Mexico the best place in the world to have a vacacation particulary if you like to mix with the locals.

    And they are thinking of not going back for a year!? I would never set foot on Mexican soil again. No more pesos from this tourista! Cram it with walnuts!

    They went driving through Mexico? Are they nucking futs? Guess some people have to learn the hard way.

    They may vacation in my home town. We have the largest, Illegal and Legal population of southern visitors in Indiana.
    That says our local government.
    And with high fuel prices it is less expensive.
    According to local paper they may well enjoy being robbed by these same folks.

    I cannot understand peoples insitance on going to Mexico (or any other under developed tourist trap), I know that for every horror story there at 100's of good vacations but the risk outweighs the possable gain to me, I for one have nor will ever go to mexico, same for cuba, the dominican ect..

    Slovakia has cleaned some of it up, I imagine Ukraine is still
