Separation is a dead issue. A sovereign Québec is a dead issue. Neither will happen because there are many many minorities in the province who do not have allegence to the french language cause which is what drives the bloc and the PQ. Ask any immigrant and they will tell you they immigrated to Canada..

I don't really get why he's spending all that time and money on a cross-country tour. To get support? The Bloc only represent one province so it's not like they have candidates in other ridings outside of Quebec. When I saw mention of this tour in another thread (news article about increasing number of MP's) I kinda wondered what his point was in this tour.

Having yet another referendum on the separation issue would be a waste of time, as kenmore mentioned separation is a dead issue.

    So what is his purpose?

To pay people like me to move to Quebec before the next referendum and vote YES to get the separatists outta here once and for all! XD

Which the Blocheads don't understand. Canada first, Quebec second.

Perhaps, the Bloc should ''also'' campaign throughout all of Canada during the elections.

As it stands now, they, the Bloc Quebecois, only campaign in Quebec ridings whereas the other Federal parties have to cover much greater distance. That way, it would only be fair for all. :)

What is this snake up to now on our dime ?

Is he hoping for at least one nut to show up, which is highly probable. Sceaming anti-french remarks that he can plaster all over the Quebec media with the hopes of rekindling the flames of the Quebec independence.
I can't see any other reason why he'd be doing this considering the rest of us would never have a say/vote when it comes to Quebec independence, ever. Why all of a sudden he cares what the rest of us thinks, so whats the point of trying to sell it to us ?

    Get bent Gilles.

I hope the turn out to these speaking dates are next to nil.
