The Liberals are trying to determine how to proceed next, after an attempt to trap Prime Minister Stephen Harper's Conservatives on abortion backfired.

Good, lets keep the momentum going right through their entire ranks.

The country would be much better off without Liberals anyhow.

(I guess I'm off your ignore list again .... and again  )

Far from falling on their face Harper showed his true colours and explained in vivid details why his far right brand of conservatism will simply not win a majority as long as they continue to oppose womens rights.

While people do know that a few Liberal MPs are anti-choice the voting public at large also knows that the Liberals as a party will support the rights of women in this country and abroad to have reproductive freedom, something you cons are disgusted with.

That is why Harper will do whatever it takes to make sure abortion is not being mentioned because he knows a majority of Canadians do not support his position and will not vote for him and that is why this will come back to bit him on the ass.

I saw your comment on the side of the news feed. Unfortunately, it doesn't block that.

It's a shame that the opposition is so weak right now.

Not really. It wasn't a bill you can whip the party. It was a free vote and it illustrated a few very important details, namely reminding Canadians just why Harper and the CPC are unfit to govern.

Hopefully we will turf those anti-choice MPs who dishonestly call themselves Liberals.

Can't complain my furry friend. The drinking thread needs a resurrection.
