Toyota recalled cars in 2003 because of fears sliding floor mats would jam the accelerator pedal � almost seven years before a similar large-scale recall, a CBC News analysis shows.

I've had similar problems in a Mercedes, Ford and a Dodge over the years.
This is getting silly fast.

Wow... what did we do before floor mat clips? I wonder if those cheap Chevy floor mats I buy at Crappy Tire will be recalled because they have no clips and can slide?
