Both officers were treated for significant head and facial bruising by B.C. Ambulance paramedics at the scene. The suspect was not injured.

Now that ladies and gentlemen, is called "restraint".

The police officer was probably so concerned about being politically correct that he let the criminal get the upper hand. The police office exercised "proper restraint" and could have gotten killed.

Proper restraint should mean the bad guy isn't in a position not to do any harm and if the police officer did not say "pretty please" so what.

I would rather see the officer safe than the criminals dignity be upheld.
