The owner of a dog so malnourished it was described as a "walking skeleton" by the B.C. SPCA told CTV News Wednesday that he didn't realize how thin the golden retriever was until he shaved him.

    What a crock of shit. He didn't put on weight because you didn't feed him. In the other story, the dogs has been eating and putting on weight at the vet after 2 days.

    The article mentions he has a second dog. What is the condition of that animal? Under the circumstances that dog should be seized by the SPCA before it meets a similar fate. He is obviously completely unable to care for an animal.

    This guys comments in his "defence" are bullshit. I hope they throw the book at him.
