If Iggy called an election now, he knows that he would lose big-time, and have to resign from his leader's position. Smart move Iggy!

It really doesn't do much for our Parliamentary system when even before the Minister of Finance sits down the Bloc and and NDP proclaim they will vote against the government knowing that the Liberals are too scared to force an election.

Iggy's comment that they will vote against the budget but not in sufficient numbers to defeat it is not only ridiculous but downright cowardly.

The Libs have not done a damned thing for themselves by replacing Dion. In Question Period yesterday Ignatieff raised two issues - prorogation and Afghan detainees - even though polls show the key issues for the public are the economy, jobs, health care and the environment.
