PORT ALBERNI, B.C. — For the second time in a month the Mounties on Vancouver Island have alerted police in the U.S. about a shooting plot uncovered over the Internet
"andyt" said The Mounties have got a lot more on the ball that Washington police have, but that is what we would expected.
It sounds more like the geeks in Port Alberni are the ones on the ball.
Yeah. I agree with that. The geeks told the RCMP who then told the appropriate agencies.
That being said at least the RCMP and other agencies took the reports seriously enough to investigate, instead of just blowing them off and not doing anything until it was too late.

The RCMP is "a lot more on the ball" because they spend their days cruising the Facebook profiles of teenage girls?
Forgive me for missing something, but aren't they supposed to be arresting people who do that?
