yes, we should force a foreign airline to accomodate us at the drop of a hat, because we are so special.

Each and every one of us should have a private plane for 300 pesos.

Hmmm she's been on 50 flights. I'd have to think that at SOME point she was politely told during ONE of those 50 flights that if she has a medical condition, it would be wise to inform the airline when purchasing the ticket, not AFTER being in the air. Not only that but, this "everyone else should be inconvenienced because I have issues" bullshit is getting real old, real fast.
For fuck sakes, I have a severe allergy to some perfumes and colognes. Does that mean when I board a plane and smell some I should get my own private flight or that the "offending" person or people should have to get on another plane?

She should mention that everytime when she books a flight. Some will accomodate her, some will not. If you have something special, MENTION IT! Geesh!

I agree with you, Martin. I want damned peanuts on my flight.

An airline spokesperson said changes to meals and snacks have to be organized in advance.

that sums it up quite nicely.

Airline staff is not informed of all concerns and issues related to a change in snacks or meals. A hasty change could be poorly executed, leaving the lady or another passenger at risk.

Wish it were but it has become the norm and shows no sign of slowing down or getting old

I also have a nut allergy and I used to bring my epipen with me every where I went, since 9/11 I have not been allowed to carry it through security. I am not saying her bitching and whining make it right but others should be aware of how ridiculous airport security has become.

    WTF??? Are you kidding me??
i thought diabetics and people with severe allergies could take their needles with them with a doctors note??

I lost three pens going through airport security
    1 in Victoria
    1 in Halifax
    1 in Dubai

Even with the prescription information on them. I would have argued but these guys have no sense of humour

Now I carry wetnaps and wipe things down, I get funny looks but better safe than sorry and my allergy isnt as bad as others, I only have to ingest, normal contact is fine.

    Nope there free :D

Along with extra leg room in coach. I love that airline. Too bad I can't fly with them more often. There deals are always when I am not looking for a flight

waht is the bid deal just don't eat the peanuts. It is super arrigance to tell the Flight Attendants what to serve to not serve.

My Dad is an airline pilot. Flight Attendants have to served what has been delivered to the aircraft. They might have alternative FOR HER, but they cannot not serve what has been allocated for the passengers.

If it that important not to see other people eating peanuts that is something to be taken care of before hand, not on the flight.
