There will be a new Olympic champion this year as Slovakia have booked a semifinal date with Canada after beating Sweden 4-3 on Wednesday night.

    It's the women of course...but still...

    Wahhh!!! I wanted to see Sweden play the USA.
    Just to hear NBC whine about how the fans cheered Sweden instead of them, not realizing it wasn't politics, it was half our Home Team playing the USA. :mrgreen:

    hehe. I don't/didn't feel exactly that way, but if we didn't/don't(my bad :() make it, then that would be the next best thing.

    The Slovaks have been real giant-killers this time round.

    First Russia ( 2-1 in the opening round )
    and now the Swedes.


    But it's time for them to stop now. :)
