CTV is a rookie to Olympic coverage, albeit a highly touted and expensive one. It paid a record $90 million U.S. for the Vancouver rights. The CBC, on the other hand, is the veteran. It aired Olympic telecasts from 1996 to 2008, and could be back as th

Then watch it on RDS or V.

The Men's Hockey matches, commentators are so much better on those networks.

Article makes very good points. Overall they have done a decent job and I enjoy having the 3 Channels to choose from. The CBC seems to be better at Sports coverage though, but I can live with watching either.

Great read, I don't mind the cheer leading too much but when they get lazy and rely on jargon and expect that audience to know I expect better. Still, it's LIVE not taped with a delay so no editing lends to that off the cuff stuff so overall I am happy with CTV's work.

Meh, that song has been overplayed only a bit.

Although, the coverage from various networks has been good. From all sides.

I'm missing the CBC, but CTV is doing a fine job nonetheless. Glitches happen so too much shouldn't be read into them.

The only thing I'm not liking about the coverage is something that's out of CTV's control. If anyone watches CTV at 11:00 pm, you'll likely have seen a banner in the crowd behind Bill Good and Pamela Martin saying "Investigate 9/11". Again, it's out of their control but I'm waiting for someone in the crowd to rip that banner down or punch those idiots out.

CBC does a better job that's for sure. Watching a CTV feed is like baby sitting a kid with ADHD. Hockey converage stinks.....

As far as I'm concerned I'll watch any Canadian channel showing the Olympics before I'd switch over and watch that "Jose can you see" bullcrap on NBC.

Amen to that. I've flipped to NBc just to see how they're doing and it's shockingly poor not to mention hours too late.
