Well, I will say that Vanoc is not doing a terribly good job at things. I had signed up, and was accepted, as a volunteer for the games only to later have Vanoc change direction and decide that they didn't want any US volunteers. Oh, and where was I volunteering? I had volunteered to do publicity and field work at the California State Capitol...it's not like I was mooching tickets to a Games venue. So instead of having me work for free Vanoc stood by their "no American volunteers" policy and hired an American PR firm to do the same work I had offered to do for free.

Thats smart brush aside your failing by saying screw the Americans!
