Instead of attacking the messenger why not discuss the topic in a civil manner...
Whether or not the seat manufacturer is Japanese, American, Canadian, Korean or Maritian is a moot point... The problem and concern is the falsifying of safety data to push a product...
Besides I thought Trevor wasn't going to tolerate personal attacks against posters in an attempt to make this a more friendly forum...??

By the same token, if you bash Obama are you then a bigot? If you bash Palin are you a sexist? Perhaps it's their policies you have issue with and not their race, sex or ethnicity... But on this forum it's much easier to shout someone down instead of discussing the issue at hand...
I frequent many forums and this is the only one that tolerates this type of behaviour...

After a company employee blew the whistle, the president of Koito Industries Limited this week formally apologised at a press conference in Japan.
He said the company and the management were responsible for the falsification of fire resistance data for tens of thousands of plane seats.
